Travelling in and around Cheadle can be done either by using public transport buses, Taxi's, or if you wish to explore a little further a field by train.

Blythe Bridge Rail Station is the closest station to Cheadle. Located on the Crewe to Derby Line, it provides quick and easy access to Stoke, the nearest city to Cheadle.
There are numerous petrol stations located around the area of Cheadle, but there is only 1 petrol station located within Cheadle itself.

Minor Injuries Unit
Where an injury is clearly not life-threatening a Minor Injuries Unit is available in Leek, this is usually nurse lead, and doesnt require an appointment. If you need to see a doctor, for anything that is not considered as an emergency there is also an NHS Walk-In Centre located in Stoke on Trent. The Walk-In Centre is situated at the Haywood Hospital. This is a single, easy to remember, local rate number that will help you to access a range of local health services through a simple menu for the Staffordshire Area. It provides access to the Walk-In Centre's and Minor Injuries Unit as well as providing information for Stop Smoking Services and details for how to register with an NHS dentist. Cheadle has 2 pay and display car parks. The first which is located in the centre of Cheadle which primarily is a Short Stay Car Park and has easy access to high street shops. "The Discover The Secret Trail Walk" also starts from this Short Stay Car Park. This car park is charged at 40 pence an hour and is chargeable from 9.30am to 3.30pm. If you are using a Satellite Navigation to be directed please use the post code "ST10 1UY".
The second is located a little further away, but is still only a 1 minute walk to the High Street.

Cheadle at present doesn't have a dedicated Tourist Information Centre, but the award winning Councils Connect one stop shop which is partnered with the Staffordshire County Council and the Cheadle Town Council can provide you with any information you may require regarding tourist information and council services.
The one stop shop aims to be easily accessible to customers with facilities for people with impaired hearing, PCs for customer use, a comfortable waiting area, access to a language interpretation service and children's play equipment. You can also find numerous leaflets regarding local attractions and amenities in the area.
