The Cheadle Academy’s Jordan Brown aged 15, has landed a contract with Derby County’s youth team.
This is an outstanding achievement and one that will see him go from, ‘strength to strength’ according to lead PE Teacher Adam Edwards.
He said: “Jordan deserves this. He has considerable talent and has always given total focus to his football.”
Understanding the commitment involved, and while undoubtedly Jordan will miss his friends, he has said that he wants to keep in touch with them and keep grounded.
He said: “I’m not doing this to get famous, I just want to do this for my family.”
Needless to say, The Cheadle Academy are extremely proud of Jordan and wish him all the very best for the future.
