A fund-raising music night will be held in aid of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in memory of Craig Beverley, former Senior Assistant Principal at The Cheadle Academy, who sadly lost his battle against cancer last October at just 46 years of age.
The event has been organised by Teaching Assistant at the Academy Annette Walker who worked closely with Craig for many years.
The event called The Soul Man is to be held at the Cheadle Guild Hall from 7.30pm until 12.30pm on Saturday, April 29, and will feature Andy Pierce, whose repertoire includes Soul, Motown, Reggae and Rock ‘n’ Roll classics.
Tickets, available from the Douglas Macmillan Hospice shop in Cheadle High Street, as well as E&E and Something Special, are priced at £15 and include a chip van supper. There will be a DJ and a licensed bar.
